LA TREINTAYTRES is a contemporary dance company that creates pieces from a question, a theme or a specific need. Each one finds its own way of existing.
The body is the starting point and also the place where each idea is tested. Text, theatre, performance, music, installation, site-specific work, or even a tutu can appear when needed. There is no predetermined aesthetic formula: the form serves what each piece wants to say.
We want the audience to be able to connect with our pieces, enjoy them and leave with something to take away: an image, a feeling, a question or a different way of looking at something they thought they knew.
Because for us, dance does not end when the performance is over. Dancing is also a way of connecting with our own bodies, with others and with the world.
