ABOUT THE PIECE

In a world full of constant distractions, where our capacity to pay attention is saturated and we feed ourselves by desperately jumping from one image to another, the meaning of certain things fades away and novelty takes the wheel. This bombardment of stimuli distances us from reality. Being online places us in a state where our bodies are neither fully present nor engaged with what they are seeing or hearing. A Harmless Little Show explores these ideas through movement and questions our relationship with social media.
